We, the members of the Colonel John T. Coffee Camp, are proud of the accomplishments our organisation has made in so short a time. One of
our proudest moments was the erection and dedication of the
1st Missouri Brigade Monument located in the Sac-Osage Roadside Park in
Osceola, Missouri. However, the work of the camp is not limited just
to the one-time grand achievements; it also comprises an ongoing
effort to educate the public about and to give honour to our great
Missouri heritage. Below we have listed a few of our past efforts and
our ongoing campaigns.

Adopt-A-Highway [Ongoing]
In an ongoing effort to maintain the beauty of the Sac-Osage Roadside
Park (location of the
1st Missouri Brigade
Monument) , the John T.
Coffee Camp has adopted the one-mile stretch of road in the immediate
area of the park. Approximately .5 miles of the road on each end of
the park will be regularly maintained by Camp members. To read more about this exciting project and see some fun pictures of our rough and ready members at work mash here

Missouri Partisan Ranger Location Effort [Ongoing]
In an ongoing effort to honour and preserve the memory of those brave
men who fought on Missouri's behalf as Partisan Rangers, members of
the John T. Coffee Camp are working to discover and mark with
headstones as many of the final resting places of these men as
possible. If you know of a grave of a Missouri Partisan Ranger (in
any state) please contact us

Educational Efforts [Ongoing]
One of the most enjoyable and productive of our campaigns is our work
in living-history and educational presentations in area schools and
at community events such as fairs. These carefully researched and
engaging historical programs are a hit with children and adults alike.
